Pietro is a distinguished 70-year-old retired literature professor who leads a solitary life. The many plants on his terrace are his sole concern, especially the lemon tree, even though it has not been bearing fruits since his wife’s death. Eleonora, 40, has recently moved with her husband Luca into the apartment facing Antonio’s. On a hot summer night, when Luca is away, Eleonora and Pietro meet while they water their plants. It is a magical encounter that, night after night, will turn into a friendship and bring them ever closer.

Ten minutes can change the course of your day. Ten minutes of doing something completely new can change the course of a life. This is what Bianca will discover in the midst of an existential crisis. New encounters, the discovery of special bonds and listening to those who have always loved us. Sometimes it takes very little to start over and this film teaches us, through a warm and exciting tale of rebirth.

From writer-director Matteo Garrone (Gomorrah, Dogman) comes an epic odyssey from West Africa to Italy told through the eyes and experiences of two Senegalese cousins, teenagers living in Dakar who yearn for a brighter future in Europe. Salvatore Ferragamo began his career as a shoemaker before he was barely a teenager. In America, his work would soon help invent the glamour of Hollywood’s silent era as he created shoes for iconic films and for stars like Gloria Swanson, Mary Pickford, and Douglas Fairbanks. Directed by Luca Guadagnino and with incisive commentary by Martin Scorsese, Manolo Blahnik, Christian Louboutin and Wanda Ferragamo, this is a portrait of a man whose vision, passion, and craftsmanship made him “shoemaker to the stars,” and an enduring cultural, fashion, and artistic influence.

Orlando is an aged musician from a small town in central Italy who lost his wife years ago and now lives alone, playing the accordion at weddings and working the land. Valerio, his only child, left for Brussels soon after his mother’s death, which led Orlando to cut all ties with him. However, when he reaches out to his father to ask for help, Orlando feels he must oblige. For the first time in his life, he leaves the town and travels to Brussels to see Valerio, only to arrive when it is too late. His son is dead, leaving behind a nine-year-old daughter, Lyse. Now, a new life for Orlando awaits…
